- The NongFu Wangtian chili sauce packaging was designed by the agency DOB Shenzhen (China)
In this work, the simplicity and effectiveness of the design were the two factors that impressed the judges. The creative idea originated from printing an image of a chili pepper on the packaging to give the chili sauce a lively and striking appearance. The cap, designed to resemble a chili stem, not only makes the product look more like a real chili pepper but also allows users to easily hang it in the kitchen.
Among the multitude of products on display, this playful design not only catches the eye of shoppers but also encourages them to try the product right away.
- The Happy Ghost rum bottle was designed by Pavla Chuykina, Senior Design Director at Brand Society Australia.
The designer cleverly shaped the bottle into a ghost by carving two deep indentations at the bottom. Furthermore, the frosted glass, resembling a mist, gives the bottle a mysterious and captivating appearance.
- The ‘Camera’ Loose Powder box from the cosmetics brand Chioture was designed by the agency Nianxiang Brand Design & Consulting, China
The design of the powder box is inspired by a mini camera. With this product, Chioture aims to provide users with an enjoyable makeup experience, from opening the ‘lens’ to pulling out the brush on the right corner. The viewfinder section, with the brand icon at the left corner, is designed as a brush holder for users on the move.

- The packaging for APEX skincare products from the Japanese cosmetics brand POLA
It is known that POLA is a brand that applies big data and AI to women’s skincare. POLA develops a range of individual products for each skin type based on personal data about each user’s skin. Consequently, the packaging design is ‘personalized’ with unique patterns and vibrant colors. The packaging includes a serial number ranging from 4-5 digits. The first two digits signify the product type and formulation, while the last 2-3 digits describe the condition of the skin. This code helps brand consultants easily track the progress of treatment for customers. On the other hand, users can easily differentiate and choose products according to their needs.
